Detachment

Detachment is not withdrawing from the world, or negating the world. It is the process of becoming aware of the interdependent actions connecting all beings. Detachment is developed, or acquired through the practice of contemplation and meditation.

What are we detaching from? The 8 snares in mentioned in the book of Robert Svoboda, "Aghora at the Left Hand of God." (page 79). Fear, Anger, Greed, Delusion, Envy, Shame, and Disgust.

Liberation from all the causes of suffering is the result of detachment; that is why we practice.

During your private consultation, or in the seminars you will be given tools for developing the skill of detachment.
